I'm sad to see that the sidewalks at the intersection of Main Street and Mechanic Street have been torn up since October. This is a major pedestrian area for school children, library patrons, and people going to local businesses. It's incredibly unsafe. We need safe areas for people to walk and cross the street. This should be a priority.
