Tell me; was it “playing politics” when Trump promised to make the payroll tax cut “holiday” permanent just 2 months before the 2020 election, but ONLY if he was re-elected? That would have lasted for far more than 30 months and would have severely crippled Social Security and Medicare. Is that a policy you are a supporter of? All politicians are politicians.
