Recently I listened to a song, "In the Ghetto" by Elvis Presley. That song really touches the heart. I wanted to find out more about the song. He produced the song in 1969. Now, my point. Not much has changed for folks living in the inner cities since he made that song. Why then, do people living in the inner cities continue to vote for people that promise them everything and do absolutely nothing for them after they are elected? 53 years and things are as bad today as they were back then. Things must change and it is up to us, not politicians, to make it happen.
