Cape May County needs to prevent the farmland it has left from being lost to development. Farmland that was developed could be restored to farmland by acquiring the properties and demolishing the homes that were built on it. The best farmland in the county shouldn't be left under houses that shouldn't have been built. Homes can be removed from the landscape as easily as they went up.
