Why are taxpayers paying more than 30 percent federal tax rates

Cape May - Why are taxpayers paying more than 30 percent federal tax rates for "soldiers" to get years of hormone treatment and ultimately sex reassignment surgery? This "transition" process takes years. Enlist for four, transition, and you're out. It's ridiculous. Seems to me such treatment and surgery is a luxury for most citizens, at such a cost. Yet Congress makes sure we pay for others to get this, so long as they "work" for the military! So much for majority rule.
