Cape May - To the spouter who wrote about Second Amendment rights and the incident at the Coast Guard base. Everyone is born with the right to bear arms, among other freedoms. Yes, an incident was avoided thankfully, but you can't infringe on the rights of people, like myself, who enjoy firearms as a hobby, like competition, hunting, or if need be, self defense. No matter what laws are passed, they only effect people like me who follow the laws. It appears that guy did not obey laws. Shall not be infringed means just that. As a law-abiding citizen, my rights should not be denied because of evil people in the world.
