Shame on Cape May for taking advantage of Washington Street Mall

Cape May - Shame on Cape May for taking advantage of Washington Street Mall customers. I was at one of the restaurants and was six minutes late trying to pay my bill and get back to my car. It was like they were waiting for my time to expire and they wrote the ticket. How about a grace period to allow someone to get back to their car? Not a good way to attract tourists or locals to the mall area.
