Cape May - I was at the new pool in Cape May recently. I was amazed that the guard was sitting in the office with their feet on the pool deck reading their phone for about 20 minutes. There were several seniors in the pool and they had no clear site or focus on the whole pool. Lifeguarding is a serious job and they should take it seriously or the town should find someone else. Huge liability risk for the town.
