Avalon / Brick - Fantastic coverage of Avalon's construction office fiasco Herald. I did read Waldron stating the borough was only purchasing three modular warranties for affected homeowners, with one homeowner opting out. Seems the recently sanctioned official better brush up on the regulations. The only way a homeowner may opt out of a DCA warranty is by written consent prior to commencement of the build. It doesn't look like this was the case. Avalon still needs to get its act together because they make the rest of us look bad. Unbelievable. The threat to sue the modular builder? Smokescreen I say.
