I applaud saving the environment, but as a person with a disabil

Cape May - I applaud saving the environment, but as a person with a disability I rely on plastic straws. After giving paper straws multiple chances, I find I use three paper straws when I could have used one plastic straw. When I'm eating out I reuse my plastic straws. How about a compromise? Only give plastic straws to those who request them. I bet the only people who chose plastic straws are those who truly need them.
