Cape May - The Cape May Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is talking about new standards. This, the very commission that has allowed rampant destruction of historic buildings in Cape May. The National Park Service standards are ignored. Were the Park Service standards observed we would still have the Beach Theatre, not a dusty, vacant lot. The Cape May HPC is anything but knowledgeable in what should be preserved. It's not all about Victorian! The ghost of Carolyn Pitts should haunt their every meeting.
