Cape May - At the April 16 Cape May City Council meeting after the parking advisory committee pontificated, much discussion, disagreement from the public and mall shopkeepers, three attempted amended resolutions and a split 3-2 vote, council approved a parking meter increase to $2 per hour for only the core area of the mall business district. That is a sure way to drive our business community out of business.
