Cape May

The state is looking for funding for roads and infrastructure. Of course, the unthinkable solution is to tax weekly/seasonal rentals and apply that tax money to completing Route 55 and other roads that are heavily used by tourists. The realtor lobby will never allow such a thing to happen. Too bad, the state is leaving a huge amount of money on the table by not taxing the seasonal, short-term rentals the way that other accommodations are taxed.
