The immigration problem lies on you Congress , you need to start coming together for solutions, maybe start by passing the “Safe Zones Act of 2022”, that will keep asylum seekers in their own country and safe while their paperwork is being processed, this will also alleviate certain states from carrying all the burden and in the mean time give those that are already here, that came here to work and are seeking asylum some sort of temporary working papers right away, so they can support themselves and pay taxes, while they go through the process.
