In his farewell address, George Washington astutely warned that political parties could become “potent engines” where “cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government.” I'm not afraid to admit that this is exactly what’s going on with our party today. The DNC's delegates are selecting our candidate and not we the people. Since Trump is not an option I'm just not voting. It's a sad state of affairs.
