As a genral rule I don't believe it absolutes. I agree with common sense restrictions on guns, drugs, abortion but complete bans are totally unrealistic because where's there's a will there's a way.. I'd bet you the states who have banned the death pentalty and don't have long jail sentences for crimes have a much higher rate of "revenge crimes". Meaning if Person A killed Peson B and was let out of jail Person B's family is more likely to take the law into their own hands. People need to stop with the "one size fits all mentality
