For those that complain about 3% credit card fees...The uptick in credit card fees is directly related to the uptick in propensity of people to pay by card. Fewer and fewer people are using cash these days. Some businesses see 90%+ transactions being by card now. When that number was halved, the business lost far less income to the credit card companies. Everyone use cards or their Apple Wallet to tap pay now. It's all about the balance sheet and credit card fees are astronomical now compared to what they were simply due to the volume of transactions.
