Avalon - My husband and I like to sit on our deck at 5 p.m. and have a cocktail. Our beautiful view includes three dumpsters, three porta potties and 15 construction vehicles within 150-feet of our deck. We are entertained by surround sound of nail guns, loud engines and cement trucks. They do not end until sundown. Two of the houses are speck houses owned by contractors. These new mega mansions have no more than two parking spaces. Why is that allowed? So glad we chose the quiet south end of Avalon 30 years ago.
