Avalon - It's funny how little politicians know about employer-sponsored health insurance. First, it's generally not free (unless you're king or something). How do employees know this? By looking at their pay stubs. Second, employees don't like the providers deducting for insurance premiums any more than they like the folks deducting for payroll taxes, nor are we under any illusions. We remember those providers denying claims left and right for preexisting conditions. We know they would do it again if we gave them half a chance.
