Avalon - An Aug. 7 spouter who blamed the lack of parking in Avalon on realtors, architects, builders, and unrestrained owners needs to adjust their thinking. Yes, realtors, architects, and builders are involved with these homes but are not making the decisions. The problem is developers, owners, and a greedy borough. Developers are behind these homes, large egos are buying and/or building and the borough tax office is dancing all the way to the bank. Larger tax base to fund more ridiculous projects. Zoning isn't the issue, planning is. Should require new homes to have one off-street space per bedroom.
