The spout suggesting Avalon Borough approved the new Atlantic City Electric metal poles is absurd. Please get your facts straight. Due to growing summer demand, N.J. Public Utilities Commission required ACE to increase the size of the substations and have poles that will withstand the weather better than the old wooden poles.
