The second stated goal for Armacost Park is to create a sanctuary for birds, yet vines are being cut, trees planted and habitats disturbed during prime nesting season. Birds nest in the spring; how can this disruption do anything but negatively impact bird habitats? Disrupt their nesting habitat and the birds won't come back; is that the plan? The activity is counter to the stated goal of preserving and protecting bird habitats, so one must ask, what's the real goal?
