Re: The new commercial development in Avalon. Nothing says "beach town" like redbrick buildings that look like banks on the bottom and rowhomes on the top. The design and selections not only lack inspiration, they look cheap. "Deposit or withdrawal?" comes to mind every time I come across the Avalon boulevard bridge now. Cheers to the beautifully updated facades on the corner of 95th and 3rd Ave in Stone Harbor. Timeless and classy.
