Avalon / Philadelphia - Is it possible that if all those big, ugly utility poles had been in service Jan. 22 that the island might not have lost power? Someone should investigate that, and if it is true, there is the ideal justification for the installation of those poles. I think looking at a slightly ugly pole is not as bad as freezing to death in your darkened house due to a power failure.
