Listening to the news, I just heard a woman say the country was built on stealing land, stealing land from the native Americans. Isn’t that what happens when human migrations take place? She must think that Saxon’s bought the land from the Norman’s or the Turks were invited into the Balkans. Great migrations of ethnic groups have crossed the continents since the dawn of man. More advanced populations overcome and overwhelm less advanced populations throughout history. The Native American populations spent hundreds of years overcoming each other, displacing other native groups.
