Pride is a celebration of love, courage, and the freedom to be yourself. Not only that, it can be combined with ocean lifesaving skills as has been evidenced for the past 5 years by the WCBP. The South Jersey LGBTQ+ Alliance would once again like to thank the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol and its leadership for its continued support, outreach & lifeguard recruiting programs for local LGBTQ+ youth. Every summer, several LGBTQ+ youth join the patrol and protect the beaches of Wildwood Crest as well as act as liaisons between LGBTQ+ beach goers and the patrol to maintain a culture of acceptance
