It was enlightening to read how SH residents and the municipality joined forces in a legal battle against Atlantic City Electric. An article in the Jan 3 edition of the Philadelphia Examiner stated a $70 million upgrade by ACE will bring 9 story-tall galvanized steel utility poles through this charming seaside town if not challenged. It is unfortunate the Borough of Avalon chose not to join Stone Harbor in this legal action. All one has to do is look up to realize Avalon's mistake.
