Avalon - The borough's litigation against the Avalon Marina is another example of borough administration working hard to not be transparent. Various attempts have been made through OPRA to identify the legal costs associated with this litigation. They have all failed as games are played with the specific language of the request even though the intent is very clear. Two things should upset borough council: either borough administration is refusing to tell taxpayers the cost of the litigation or it is so inept it does not know how much it has paid. Neither should be acceptable to council.
