Rio Grande - I witnessed a potential disaster May 29. It was virtually impossible to drive north in Cape May County May 29. I did see some police cars moving north using lights and sirens, presumably to one of the traffic accidents that caused or exacerbated the conditions, however, that would have been of no value were we fleeing some type of natural disaster. I hate to complain without offering some type of remedy, but I just don't have one. It is obvious that we need better traffic management systems. I could have traveled north on Ocean Drive, but with the TI bridge out, that was not happening.
