Town Bank - Per Jim McCarty's article in the June 4 Herald, it's important that Lower Township residents note that Mayor Beck stated during the June 2 council meeting that the Beach and Shore Drive Public Access project 'be placed on hold', not cancelled. Deputy Mayor Norris Clark noted that the project's failure was due to poor communication. The council then passed a resolution to hire a public information officer. This is council's strategy to revisit this issue. While on 'hold', the PIO will be campaigning to revisit this unwanted project. Voters, let council know we are not fooled.
