Dennis Township - There are many winter TV advertisements by the ASPCA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) showing neglected and shivering animals in the cold. Especially cruel are the chained dogs with absolute misery on their faces. I sure do hope the members of Dennis Township Committee see these advertisements, and it spurs them to finally take long overdue action to upgrade our animal ordinances here and to establish an animal advisory committee like Middle Township and other municipalities have. Animals everywhere deserve legal protections to be brought indoors from the cold and heat.
