Wildwood - I recently read about the back bay development in Wildwood and question the elected officials as to why not do an RFP (request for proposal)? By selecting a developer who does not have a history of developing similar parcels only because he approached the mayor and made an offer is not good or transparent governing. We already have many empty condos and townhouses on the island for a class "B" development on the back bay to sit partially occupied several years later only to go to auction several years later. One would think that one would learn after looking at why the current unsold condos cannot sell.
