North Wildwood - I find it ironic that our city leaders, council and mayor would even consider a non-binding referendum on changing the name of our city after celebrating the 100th anniversary of the City of North Wildwood only 10 years ago. Would we need to remove the centennial clock from the front of City Hall if we change the name? What questions would visitors have by looking at a 100-year monument knowing the name was changed? Anglesea is history, and history needs to remain in the past. Please remember the centennial celebration cost the city and taxpayers a fortune so let's revel in that for the future.
