Cape May - Tricia Hendricks is on target when calling for the new or renovated facilities Cape May will need in the next decade or so. The police station is dismal. City Hall itself is in disrepair. Zero facilities for females at the Fire Station. No place for Seniors to gather. Nor our youth. Nor our civic organizations. Mrs. Hendricks calls us to action for the near term and the longer term. She is not “spend, spend, spend.” She is “think, plan, act with prudence, due diligence, efficiency, responsibility.” We’ve seldom experienced that in the last 8 years, so you probably didn't recognize it.
