North Cape May - I recently overheard a woman walking her small dog directly along my fence, complaining to a new neighbor about my barking dogs. My dogs are not outside 24/7 and enjoy spending the afternoon outdoors, fully contained on my property. Both the neighbor and dog owner had a lot to say about my dogs. Please feel free to check the noise and dog ordinances of Lower Township. No laws are being broken. They do not bark continuously, only at a passing pedestrian or when an inconsiderate dog owner walks their pooch along my property line. They are doing their job, protecting my family.
