Middle Township - The taxpayers of the state of NJ should be thanking the Supreme Court for the ruling of no cost of living increases for public pensioners. We are retired senior citizens, one of whom receives no pension and the other a pension with no increases. Senior citizens who receive Social Security have not received cost of living adjustments for a few years. Instead, we receive less money due to increased Medicare costs. Most do not receive health benefits either. Why do they feel entitled to all this at the cost of people who cannot afford higher taxes? This has to stop. NJ taxes are too high.
