Why does Sea Isle need a pool at the site of the old public scho

Sea Isle City - Why does Sea Isle need a pool at the site of the old public school? We have gorgeous beaches, no one will visit a pool. The land would be better served being used as a bird sanctuary/park, and some additional parking. It would help with Sea Isle's overbuilding and density problem. We need open space.
