Stone Harbor - Watched the SH Borough Council 5/3 meeting. The big 'shocker' isn't that they raised PB fees, it's that Council and Rec. dept. are viewing it as a commodity and not a community. In many towns PB is free. NO other public Rec charges $80. A Season Pass is a courtesy so cash transactions are eliminated. Most PB players play once daily, 3-4 days not 7. Unlike tennis, Courts are shared by MANY for 2 hours. Asking $250 for a season pass then lowering to $150 does NOT make it a deal. PB is one-game-in, one-game-out then wait for 5-20 min to play.
