Wildwood Crest - Rename Rio Grande Ave? NEVER. So many people have fond memories of reaching Rio Grande at the end of their journey to the shore. It meant the beginning of vacation. What is the reason? It just won't be the same. Wildwood has promoted the concept of DooWop and tradition. Changing the name is not following the plan for the town. A new name is just not needed. Some may say its just a name but an important and nostalgic one for so many people and generations.
