If Middle allows a 101 room hotel east of the Parkway in an area designated as rural conservation and more high density housing on a similar parcel of land, any residential area could be rezoned as town center. Area businesses can’t even fill positions, adding to that, other hotels aren’t at full capacity during summer and adding more traffic east of the Parkway is dangerous to children in the school zone and area residents. Middle needs to look to develop Route 9 that is zoned for business, not just allow development for the sake of tax ratables.
