Avalon - My wife and I have made day trips to Avalon for over 40 years. We come down in the morning, visit the shops, walk on the beach and get lunch. Then we travel to 21st and the bay to sit in the gazebo and enjoy our lunch out of the sun with a beautiful view. This past weekend (Aug. 3-4) it didn't happen. The gazebo has been torn down. I won't ask why. I just hope officials will build a nicer one soon.
