Sea Isle City - I walk the promenade or Landis Ave. every day. I see Sea Isle City public works employees picking up trash off the streets and putting it in a bag. Lately, I've noticed these employees are having difficulty performing this function. The tips of their grabbers are worn off, so they have a hard time picking up paper. Their bags are held together with duct tape. They have always done a wonderful job picking up the refuse in the streets. Why can't the city supply these employees with the necessary equipment to do their job? Why doesn't the city take out a bond for $50 to buy them what they need?
