Avalon - I know people in general do not understand the intent of the "yield to pedestrians in crosswalk" law. Some think you should violently push your stroller off the curb, then walk as slow as possible, all with no eye contact. I hope no one is ever texting while you're crossing. But my question is, has anyone thought about how much extra fuel, energy, brake pads, etc. that this causes? I'm not thinking it's helping the environment.
