As part of the Beach Drive reconstruction, crosswalk signs were

North Cape May - As part of the Beach Drive reconstruction, crosswalk signs were installed on the southbound lanes in the dunes. The winds blew so hard this past winter, the signs are leaning over. Rather than straighten the sign posts only to have it happen again, could Lower Township consider removing them and installing the sign on the backside of the same crosswalk signs on the northbound lanes? These sign posts are anchored in concrete, will readily provide crosswalk information to southbound lanes, and will not lean like those anchored in sand. In addition, it will beautify the dunes by eliminating the signs.
