North Wildwood - In our early married years we vacationed in Ocean City, wishing we could own a home some day. Then it became too overbuilt, with houses so close together. We then tried Seven Mile Island for a few years. Beautiful cottages, replaced by so many mini mansions. But as I crested the last incline on the North Wildwood bridge recently, I realized that the approach to my new hometown has the most beautiful of all the vistas to the ocean communities. The blue of the surrounding bay and its reeds and the magnificent blue ocean, matching the serene sky, is the best ever welcome home.
