Avalon - A North Wildwood pro-NRA spout reflects a disconnect from reality regarding the NRA and gun violence. The spouter's rant boils down to this: "Punish the criminal." In other words, let the crime occur and then punish the criminal. Which scenario is more desirable; let more Auroras, Sandy Hooks or Virginia Techs occur, and then deal with the perpetrators, or try to prevent more such massacres? The "punish the criminal" advocate implicitly chooses the former. The NRA opposes gun-control laws which would help save those lives.
