The truth is DeVico was not even on committee when the plans were conceived and the funding sought for the Ockie Wisting Complex, Avalon Manor fishing pier or the bike path connector to Lower Township. The leadership on all these projects came from Tim Donohue. The fact is that since DeVico took office and Clark became mayor, projects in the planning stage have stalled out. Months after the county awarded the funds for the park in Rio Grande and the fishing pier, no contracts have been awarded.
