Avalon - I live on 24th Street and have recently become outraged to find that the ramp leading onto the beach has been taken down for months now. The activity that brings my son true joy at the shore is running on the beach late at night after the teens who drink there have left. Recently, he attempted to run down the ramp out of habit, and slammed his knee into the barricade blocking off the construction. He was lucky to have only suffered a bruised coccyx. Please get this fixed so that someone else's loved one does not hurt themselves as mine did.
