I am confused. Can someone please explain the purpose of the two basketball nets which were recently erected on the 6 th street beach? I’m a taxpayer and resident and I have to say this money could have been better spent on playground equipment as suggested by Council member Hartzell. Maybe I’m missing something but how do you dribble a ball on the sand? .
