I repeatedly warned the Borough that allowing free-range chickens to roam Ave S was going to end badly. My concerns were ignored. Today three chickens, possibly two Rhode Island Reds & a Silver Foxy,were hit by the street sweeper. The street looked like a bucket of KFC-legs,wings & thighs everywhere, but curiously very few breasts? Now who is going to clean this mess up? Some neighbors feel this may have been deliberate & are demanding the dash cam video from the street sweeper. The driver was sharply dressed & had white hair, a gootee was wearing glasses & a white uniform.
